"Нужно меньше твитить"

Olivia Nuzzi, статью которой о Джулиани я недавно цитировал -- "Я сам решаю, кто еврей" -- хорошо написала в Твиттере:

I’m always mystified by Trump’s supporters and allies whose sole tepid criticism of him is that he tweets too often and too freely. If there is a problem with Trump’s tweeting, it’s not the tweeting itself. It’s what the tweeting reveals about what he thinks.

I hear this a lot from Trump fans at his rallies and other reelection events. They say something like, “Sometimes I just wish he’d put down the phone!” “He should stop tweeting so much!”

These supporters would never tell me that they wish Trump would stop publicly revealing what he thinks. But that’s what they’re saying.
