Самолеты

Как-то это прошло мимо ЖЖ, по-моему. Хотя в прошлом много было разговоров о самолетах.

Пресс-секретарь Пентагона на вчерашнем брифинге:
Q: And you said earlier that the Ukrainians have now more fighter aircraft than they had two weeks ago. Can you give us...

MR. KIRBY: More operable fighter aircraft than they had two weeks ago.

Q: So can you give us an idea of – did they receive more? And an idea of how many? Dozens?

MR. KIRBY: I would just say without getting into what other nations are providing that they have received additional platforms and parts to be able to increase their fleet size -- their aircraft fleet size, I think I'd leave it at that.

Platforms and parts.

Q: What is a platform?

MR. KIRBY: Platform is an airplane in this case. They have received additional aircraft and aircraft parts to help them, you know, get more aircraft in the air. Yes.
В то же время, сегодня и официально :) С третьей стороны:
Ukraine has added more than 20 fighter jets available by fixing inoperable aircraft with parts supplied from Europe: senior U.S. defense official

Russia still DOES NOT have air superiority on Day 56 of the war.
Сложно не согласиться с этим:
hmm, pentagon saying that these spare parts resulted in 20 extra aircraft for Ukraine. That certainly sounds like alot. I wonder if the ‘officially’ had a little wink and a nudge in it.

And to be fair, the Ukrainians have a track record of this, their wink and a nudge denial of the Belgorod fuel dump attack most famously

I mean, you don’t normally expect to find 20 extra MiGs down the back of the sofa needing a few spare parts

And to be precise, the Pentagon said ‘more than 20’ according to the tweet. Even less likely they were found under the bed and needing a little dusting
Мне вообще кажется, что не стоит особенно публично обсуждать кто, когда и какое оружие передаст.
