In a late-night address posted on Telegram, Russian-installed Kherson official Kirill Stremousov calls for people to "evacuate the city as quickly as possible" and says Ukraine "will begin an offensive on the city of Kherson very soon" pic.twitter.com/NBOvy1zJCo — Francis Scarr (@francis_scarr) October 18, 2022 Кстати, в сторону. This poetry performance by Russian-installed Kherson official Kirill Stremousov is truly one of the most bizarre things I have ever seen pic.twitter.com/C1Hh1fDTeq — Francis Scarr (@francis_scarr) October 18, Meanwhile in Russia: anger and disappointment fill the studio, as the viewers are being prepared for the loss of Kherson and other territories. Host Olga Skabeeva bitterly questions why Russia was so wrong in the beginning, believing that Zelensky would run & NATO wouldn't help. pic.twitter.com/sQpxokXDSv — Julia Davis (@JuliaDavisNews) October 19, It is very likely that if/when the Russian military withdraws Kherson, it will be using the human shield of civilians it will also be forcibly “evacuating” across the Dnipro. This would be a grave violation (unsurprisingly) that would nonetheless prevent Ukrainian attacks. DW: https://yakov-a-jerkov.dreamwidth.org/2067707.html
