They would do a couple of things to inspire fear:

Call a person on the telephone; they would never say anything, but you would repeatedly get these calls, and hear machines or a factory in the background.

Show up at your house and do *strange* things. Like, ask you to show them how to eat jello with a straw. Or ask for your grape jelly and eat it all. All the while, radiating malevolence and absolute fear. They would also threaten you and tell you to never tell anyone what you had seen or experienced.

They drove black sedans(i think), and had complete control over the cars. They would go really fast in reverse, etc.

They seemed to have absolutely no idea how our world worked and would say and do...just *strange* things! For example, they might come into your house and ask you how many cokes you had drank since your last abduction or if "the amount of sexual activity between you and your spouse" had increased or decreased since you saw that light in the sky. Wow...what... ??!

Отлично придумано, по-моему. Если бы ко мне пришел кто-то в черном и попросил показать, как есть варенье соломинкой, а потом еще и съел бы все мое виноградное желе, я бы тоже перепугался.

Кстати, Остап Бендер ведь использовал похожий метод психологического давления на Корейко. "Грузите апельсины бочками"...
