Камерон Диаз -- молодец, слава героям. Это примерно как "coming out" знаменитостей. Не по драматизму, но по смыслу. Тут, правда, забавно:

In an unlikely about-face, Cameron Diaz has proclaimed that pubic hair is there for a reason, and to remove it is tantamount to saying, "I don't need my nose". This is odd, as just under a year ago she cheerfully told Graham Norton a cute story about pinning an ungroomed friend into the shower and forcibly de-fuzzing her. (I hope the poor woman's nose is still intact.)

В-третьих, вот это для меня полная неожиданность, цитирую отсюда:

More than half of women (51%) surveyed by UK Medix do not style or groom their pubic hair at all, and almost two-thirds (62%) say their partners prefer them au naturel.

51 процент британских женщин вообще никак не удаляют pubic hair, и 62% британских мужчин предпочитают естественное состояние pubic hair у женщин. Меня 62% поражают даже сильнее, чем 51%. Хотя и 51% для меня удивителен.

Update: Я почитал немного об этом опросе. Это online опрос британской сети аптек что ли, то есть не самое высоконаучное исследование. Но, все равно, удивительно. По ходу поисков прочитал такой отрывок, очень хорошо он характеризует представления нынешнего общества:

Arguably the most disturbing part of this survey, other than that more comprehensive results can be found by polling the chicks at, like, Coachella, is that 45% of women admitted that “they can no longer be bothered to keep up the grooming.”

Jesus, ladies, what have we come to? No one says you have to keep your lady parts looking ready to grace a layout in the glossies at all times, or do any of this shit, but 45% of you have just. Given. Up. Really? This isn’t like forgetting to get your roots covered, this is just straight up throwing in the towel. It’s a sad day when basic physical maintenance (let alone sexiness upkeep) falls off the priority radar completely.

Granted, you gentlemen should definitely not broach the topic if you notice your girlfriend’s groin looking more and more like a chia pet lately, because that’ll A) get you slapped or frozen out, and B) makes you a total dick. Just rely on the fact that she’ll eventually get the hint when other women throw her side eye in the locker room at yoga.
